Table Number Notebooks

Picture
I decided to make table number notebooks for our table numbers.  This is a sample one that I have completed.  The real ones are going to have the same background, but a solid silver number instead of the hologram.  They are just small moleskine notebooks, covered in scrapbooking paper, with a number on the front and back.  On the pages I will be writing headings so that people can write their wishes to us on the pages during the reception!  I got this idea from Knottie Morgan.

Flower Pens

Picture
I made these flower pens to write in the table number notebooks.  I took regular ball point pens, wrapped them with green floral tape, then attached white daisies and blue flowers to the top.  I think they are much cuter then plain blue pens!

Card Box-DIY

Picture
In order to make the card box I needed a box, white satin material, glue gun, glue sticks, blue & silver ribbon, quilt batting, rhinestones, and cross stitching thread.  I followed the instructions given to me by Knottie Michelle142.
Picture
I had to mark the back of the lid with where I wanted the thread pulls.  I then cut holes with my utility knife.

This is after the batting and fabric were on and after I sewed the thread pulls.

Final steps-put rhinestones in the thread pulls and glue on the ribbon.

Finished card box!

Haute Couture Bracelet

Picture
This is by far one of my absolute favorite DIY projects I completed.  I kept putting it off thinking that I didn't need another bracelet, but after looking at everyone else's I knew I had to have one.  I looked high and low for the perfect brooch to make the bracelet.  Once I found it, the rest was easy!  It took a lot of time but I LOVE IT!  I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day:-)

White Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Favors

Picture
We are going to our wedding favors ourselves.  My mother and Kristin have graciously agreed to help me with these the week before the wedding.  We will be dipping pretzel rods into white chocolate and then painting on blue swirls and tying it together with blue ribbons.  Simple, but time consuming.

Program & Bathroom Baskets

Picture
I decided to make baskets for both the bathroom and the programs.  The bathroom baskets are made from baskets I found at JoAnn's.  I hot glued ribbon around the edges, put fake flowers on them, and then attached rhinestones for some sparkle.  The program basket was also from JoAnn's.  I took the 2 blue colors from the bridesmaids dresses and weaved them around the top of the basket.  Then I added flowers.

Bubble Baskets

Picture
I made 2 of these baskets to hold our bubbles in.  I bought the baskets at Jo Ann Fabrics, then hot glues on blue ribbon trim, and silver ribbon on the handles.  I then took tiny blue flowers and hot glued them to the sides of the basket.

Bathroom Basket and Guestbook Signs

Picture
I took wording from other signs that I looked at, tweeked them, and made them my own.  I printed out these signs with a watermark photo in the background.  I love how they turned out-it really makes the blue letters pop.

Wine Charms

Picture
I made wine charms for the toasting flutes at the reception.  There are different ones for everyone in the wedding party.

Cake Table Letters

Picture
I bought wooden letters at JoAnn Fabrics and painted them white.  After painting the letter, I used tacky glue to put clear crystal rhinestones all around the letters.  They will be sitting on our cake table as decoration.

Shoes

Picture
I loved the shoes that I bought, but thought that they needed a little dressing up.  I bought 2 bags of Swarovski crystals and blinged out the heels!  Love them!

Toasting Flutes

Picture
We bought a pair of toasting flutes from Ralph Lauren.  They are very pretty, but were plain.  I decided I wanted them engraved or etched.  It was fairly expensive to have it done, so I etched them myself!

Bridesmaids Toasting Flutes

Picture
I wanted to make toasting flutes that looked pretty but were something that the bridesmaids and groomsmen would want to take with them.  I simple painted the names of the groomsmen on their glasses with silver paint.  For the bridesmaids, I wrote their names and then used glass paint in blue and silver to make the dots.  I love how they turned out!

Out of Town Bags

Picture
These are the actual bags for our OOT bags.  They are white gift bags that I purchased from Michael's.  I then printed out our monogram, pasted it on heavy blue cardstock, and glued it to the bag.

Cuff Links

Picture
I decided to make cuff links for a few special people in the wedding.  I had never made them before but had a good set of directions.  This is the first pair I made and I think that they turned out pretty good.  They were incredibly easy to make, just very time consuming.
